Munich’s food culture is not only about what is served on the plate. For generations, the city’s Wirtshäuser have been the places where Munich meets, eats, talks and spends an evening together — and they still are today.
And when dinner is over, Munich has another culture waiting: its bars, classic drinking places and neighbourhood institutions. On this evening, you experience both sides — personally curated, from within rather than from the outside.

The evening

Your host collects you personally from your hotel in Munich, and together you travel to a carefully selected Wirtshaus or restaurant: wood-panelled rooms, the sound of conversation, freshly tapped beer and regional cooking.

Around the table, Munich gradually reveals itself — its history, its stories and why the traditional Wirtshaus has always been the place where the city meets, eats, talks and spends an evening together.
Not a lecture, simply good conversation with someone who knows the city from within.

Here you sit down to a proper three-course dinner — starter, main course and dessert — honest, generous and made with care. A selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages accompanies the meal, and a digestif and coffee round off dinner.

When dinner is over, Munich has another culture waiting. We continue together to a selected bar or second location, where one drink of your choice is included — a well-made cocktail, a beer, a non-alcoholic alternative or a coffee speciality, depending on you and the evening.
The evening is personally curated rather than rigidly scheduled. Afterwards, you are personally returned to your hotel in Munich.
